It was worth a try but realistically few if any would even give up a 7th for a guy they figure they might have a shot at picking up off waivers. My guess is that someone will sign him sooner or later to see if they can salvage his career as a DT.
He was just one more of those more speculative Emery picks who never developed beyond being a pretty one dimensional player and not a very good one at that.
