This will help whoever they get to play center. They can use Whitehair there as competition for Larsen. There is real depth too once Grasu comes back next year. This will help the Bears stabilize the pocket. Anyone can look good between two problems guards.

basicly we have a solid middle OL with a FB, Howard and Carey. I am VERY STOKED. with one signing we look like interior is a position of strength and depth again.

Exactly. Having "too many good OL men" is the epitome of a good problem to have. If Whitehair and Grasu become HOFers next year, flip Sitton to an OL-needy team (there are those every year) for a late round draft pick. In the meantime, you have added strength while your chief division rival has been weakened.
