I'm thinking G. Not sure what side. I say that only because I didn;t think he could play C. But I thought the same about Slauson, and he was pretty good. I am really curious to see who is sitting in what chair when the music stops.
WOW Pace getting rid of Slauson because in part because he is getting too old the he signs Sitton a 30 year Offensive linemen. Man can we live another year with Pace went he has no idea what he wants or doing.
I think where Sitton plays is still open to conjecture at the moment but once again we head into the regular season without all five starting positions being firmly established so we can probably expect another month of settling in to take place. Here's on more analysis of the signing.
Instant analysis of Josh Sitton signing with the Chicago Bears Sep 21, 2014; By: Bryan Perez | 2 hours ago
The Chicago Bears made one of their biggest signings of 2016 just days from the start of the regular season, agreeing to terms on a three-year deal with All-Pro guard Josh Sitton.
Sitton, who started all but two games for the division rival Green Bay Packers since 2009, becomes an instant upgrade for a Bears line that was in desperate need of talent and experience along the interior.
Sitton will pair with Kyle Long to form one of the elite guard duos in the NFL.
His addition likely means the end of Ted Larsen’s time as a starter for the Bears. Larsen was signed by Chicago to be a versatile reserve at guard and center but was forced into the starting center spot after Hroniss Grasu went down with a torn ACL.
Larsen has been inconsistent throughout the preseason, and if any current starter is headed to the bench, it’ll be him.
Rookie left guard Cody Whitehair is headed to the middle of the line, assuming the Bears want Sitton to remain at guard. He does have experience at center, but his best contribution to Chicago will be on the left side of the offensive line.
Whitehair was drafted to be a guard in Chicago, but Sitton’s three-year deal suggests he’ll be manning the position for the next several seasons. The time may be now for Whitehair to settle into his long-term position at center.
The Sitton deal will also mark the end of an interior lineman’s tenure in Chicago. The most likely casualty is Amini Silatolu, who is more upside than actual talent right now. After tearing his ACL last year, Silatolu was limited this preseason and made the final roster more because of what he could become than for what he is right now.
No matter how the deck is shuffled over the next few days, the addition of Sitton transforms the Bears line into a viable group with massive upside. Bears fans should be thrilled with the decisive action taken by Ryan Pace to make sure the deal got done within the first few hours of Sitton’s availability.

You must dislike puppies, sunshine, and soft chocolate chip cookies too. That's really sad.
