not requiring surgery and healing back to 100% are not the same thing though. I posted something later that said it can take up to a year w/a tear depending on what movements are required. Even then it doesn't say whether or not they heal properly after that.
If it occurs coincident with a full dislocation yeah. That's possible and that is what you took your info from. Long doesn't have a shoulder dislocation. It's a strained or torn labrum with no dislocation. If they have to they can put him in a sling he can play in to provide more support for the shoulder.
The bottom line is unless we hear differently I don't think he'll miss any time other than now in preseason.
We don't know what he has. It's not like Fox or company are open or even slightly informative about what or why.
No... honestly can't say that having a dick stuck in my armpit (or any part of me) is a goal of mine. I'm sure that this whole dick in the armpit thing is intertwined with the bag of dicks concept. I just haven't figured out how yet, but I'm on it.
It is now a new NFL me thinks where teams would rather have injuries completely heal rather than risk further injury. But on the flip side we all know how well that worked for the Bulls.
You could look it up in your anatomy book but unless you want a dick stuck in your armpit I'd say no......they're not quite the same.

LOL I really think that if we get to the point of awarding gifts here one of them should be a "bag of dicks". Of course we'd need to reserve it for the most egregious posts or violations of board decorum which of course means you and I may end up with a whole shelf full of them.
If that's what it comes down to that's what it will most likely be. I'm still not gonna buy into him missing much time if any.
Waddle and Silvy were talking about that harness yesterday. Waddle was saying it can be set up to prevent the shoulder joint from going past a certain range of movement so:
The shoulder cannot be dislocated
The labrum cannot be damaged any more than it already is
The issue is it really restricts the range of motion (it has to do accomplish the above) so if Kyle is really hurt bad, he can be beat by his opponents because he just won't be able to move his bad arm in certain ways.
