The offense was IDK, you can't come to a conclusion on whatever that garbage I watched was. The RBs played ok, that is about all. The strength of the offense, the wide receivers, might have played worse than everyone else. It is in your job title "wide RECEIVER" the object of your profession is to catch the ball. Kevin White look particular usless. TE position was all but invisible. The Oline played below average, but that might be their ceiling. And Cutler played below average.
The entire game was pretty bad. PreSeason or not, there is nothing this team is doing, or trying to do that inspires any confidence. The D held strong in the RZ, but was a bunch of tomato cans GL-20. The Offense was awful, my liver is going to be shot, and my blood pressure might be right there with it if that O looks like that.
I won't write White off because the kid has obvious talent but needs to get his head screwed on and keep his focus. The biggest issues are really with the OL where once again what talent is left is either inexperienced or lacking in talent. Edison is clearly not NFL material now and probably never will be and Larsen is what he is. A low level vet whose managed to hang on somehow due to his versatility and toughness. He was a decent enough pickup as a backup OG but he's not starter material in any top NFL OL.
Fox wasn't joking when he said losing Grasu was a kick in the gut and that's about as divulgent as he's been with his feelings about an injury all preseason. Once Ramirez retired OC all fell to Grasu and when he went down it was like a house of cards for the rest of the OL. Next to a QB the OC is the second most critical guy on the offense as far as maintaining stability and we lost it.
