What do you guys think about Belichick? Not asking if you think the Bears will or will not hire him. My question is do you think this guy can be a good HC for the Bears?

I do not JABF. At one point, I wondered why we couldn’t find a coach like Belichick but once Brady left he just could not even keep them competitive. We’ve already got a coach that can't make the team competitive. Belichick would not make the bad real time game decisions our clueless Flus does but no, I don’t want him as our next coach
"The Bears have never fired a head coach midseason, but Thursday's inexcusable meltdown might just be the thing that finally sends the organization into action. Chicago lost 14 straight games under Eberflus from 2022-23, and that still wasn't enough for the organization to get rid of him last season before the team turned things around in the second half of the year."

It’s time for a change. I know we’ve all expressed the need to do so, but today showed it’s time.
It all looks so dysfunctional this season. You can tell the players are pretty pissed with it all. But the Bears seem frozen into inaction. Incapable of doing what is best for this team and players. It has to be taking a toll on a rookie QB who is trapped in this clown show. This isn't how you develop anything good in the rookie. We have an incredibly good rookie here who is trapped in a dysfunctional franchise.
I was thinking more in terms of him just getting an HC job anywhere and not necessarily here. But I admit I did think about that possibility. He won't be the sexy pick here because the team will most likely lose a lot of these remaining games (maybe all of them). And he's not a big name guy, and there will be popular big name guys available to hire, guys like Gruden, Belichick, Ben Johnson, Daboll, McCarthy, Vrabel, Kingsbury, Slowick etc. I had never even heard of Thomas Brown. The weird thing is, if he were to do some miraculous thing and the team wins 4 or 5 of these tough games against some of the NFL's best teams, will that save Eberflus and the Bears keep 'Flus while Thomas Brown is with another team as HC?
The Bears will never do this but what do you think of:
Firing Eberflus now; today is fine.
Making Brown the interim HC and let's see how we do. Make it a trial run and if it works he stays if it doesn't then no big deal because we were going to lose with Eberflus anyway.
I was upset it took a blocked field goal for the Packers to beat the bears a few weeks ago. But then they took the best team in the league to the end on Sunday, Nearly beat the vikings and lost on a fluke play to Washington. If the Bears get this off season right they will be a problem in the NFC for years. If I was a Bears fan I'd be hoping for HC Ben Johnson and DC Robert Saleh... They do that and they will be a problem for the rest of us. JMHO

+1 Get a solid head coach and finish the rebuild of this roster this off-season. Then have stability for Caleb so he can grow and improve over the years.
