With Detroit finally righting the ship, lets be honest here, the Bears organization is now swimming with the dregs of the NFL--franchises like the Jets, Browns, Jags, and Panthers. We are bottom-feeders.
Exactly. It is a bad franchise. I think some Bears fans fail to grasp how bad this franchise is - and has been for decades. It really is a laughing stock of the NFL (one of the major clown shows anyway). LOL, you see it in the prime time games where the people covering those games (including past players who played the game at a high level) seem to barely contain their contempt for the team. It's like "Bears are gonna crap the bed" and often (way too often) the Bears totally crap the bed in front of a national prime time audience. This stink is generational, not just on Poles' watch here.
I am going to personally be so pissed if the Chicago Bears fail to develop Caleb Williams. I can't change the franchise but I sure can pick another team to follow as my fav NFL team. I probably should have done this decades ago but like all the other meatballs I keep hoping the blind squirrel will finally find an acorn. These Bears wouldn't know what to do if they ever found an acorn anyway. Caleb Williams is exhibit one.
I watch college football almost exclusively now and look in on other NFL games from time to time. Saves myself the anguish of watching the Bears crash and burn.
