The only thing I know is he changed the focus of the stadium from AH to the lakefront but I view that as a negative. The guy has a hell of a resume and he is a behind the scenes guy so I will give him some more rope, but honestly I have gone from being super impressed we got him to "WTF? Do something dude!"

I've become more and more skeptical of him. He appears to be just a figurehead who's sole job it is is to schmooze corrupt Illinois politicians for stadium funding.
Haven't seen any evidence that he has any real football acumen or influence. Any real Football Operations President would have intervened last offseason to stop the coaching-QB dumpster fire we are all witnessing come home to roost right now.
Unless you have a Mike Tomlin or a Sean Peyton already in place, you always align a new HC with a new #1 pick QB. Sorry, yes it is ALWAYS. This is a total no-brainer.
You never pair a lame duck, or potentially lame duck, HC with a new QB. Especially if the lame duck guy is from a defensive tree and just whiffed on his previous OC pick. Especially if the GM has a personal friendship with him that may be or may become a conflict-of-interest.

Still trying to negotiate having a real job where I'm not at home, on the PC 18 hours a day =). Something has to give, and w/the team being far worse than I expected, and college basketball added to the docket. this is one of the things I've cut until I can get back into the swing of things.
Presidents shouldn't been seen often, if at all. The GM and coaches and players are the ones dealing w/day to day football related stuff. He's dealing w/finance and long term goals. Poles is the problem, and one of many guys that Warren has no association with, if he isn't worried about the terrible trend the Bears have put their young players in, he'd can Poles and everyone below him. If he's worried about the optics of the Bears AGAIN doing everything bassackwards he should let them flounder one more year than hire a new GM/Staff who can have 2 years to see if they can salvage Williams.
