“My mentions are flooded with anger and frustration and people asking what will happen this week,” Zimmerman reported. “I don’t expect Matt Eberflus to lose his job, but I do think they make a change. I expect Shane Waldron to be stripped of play-calling duties and Thomas Brown to take over.”
No, of course you would not want to fire a guy that takes no action until the fan base is about to tar and feather him. I mean, Waldron has been a problem for a while. And I say this as a person that had great expectations from him. But you take no action until your own job is on the line and who is responsible for the team production. Why would you fire a guy like that? Or even expect him to be fired? Lets put in another OC and have Flus lead that guy too. I'm sure it will work out.

I've said elsewhere that announcers and fans seem to know more about football than Flus. I don't think he could pass a Football for Dummies 001 class, let alone a 101 class. Waiting for fan outrage to realize he needs to do something is not the mark of a HC.
