Williams looks nothing like he was in the middle stretch there where he was QBing like a real NFL QB. Now he looks like Mitch under Fox.
The Bears just choke the football-life out of these kids. They just chew them up and spit them out busts.
We're a meat grinder I tell ya. We drop QBs in and get chopped meat out.
Bratwurst, liverwurst, weisswurst, blutwurst, currywurst, whateverwurst. The key here is wurst. As in we are the wurst QB developing team in the NFL. I pray and hope that changes soon.
Here is a quote and it could be a problem with Moore. I hope not. That kid goes in even after getting hurst multiple times. He WANTS to win.
Don't know what to make of it, but the HC should be handling this controversy. Maybe he is, but my faith in Flus ability is low.
"The speculation in Chicago is that star wide receiver D.J. Moore was among those advocating for Bagent to replace Williams. That is just speculation, and will likely never be confirmed. Moore had a career-year last season with QB Justin Fields. The Bears moved on from Fields to draft Williams, and so far Moore’s production is way down. Moore is on pace for less than half as many catches and nearly 4x fewer yards than last year.
Moore is not without blame. He’s been openly quitting on routes all season, and even walked off the field in the middle of a play vs. the Cardinals. Moore was advocating for the Bears to keep Fields in the offseason, which read at the time like a receiver standing up for his embattled teammate. It’s easy to think back to those comments now has Moore’s play has massively declined upon signing a new contract as the Bears made the switch to Williams."

In all fairness, Shameful Waldrunaway was using DJ where Keenan should be, and Keenan where DJ should be. both guys were out of place and running routes the other guy should be. Kmet wasn't being used so Odunze is getting the targets. With better personnel usage things should be better for all of them. I can only hope Brown can be a decent OC. From that article:
Despite the poor production from what could certainly be labeled as a lack of talent in Carolina, Brown was praised by players last season. In a NFLPA poll, Brown, in his first ever NFL season as a play caller and offensive coordinator, ranked second in offensive coordinators among a players vote across the league.

I am not buying DJ Moore was lobbying for Caleb to sit. I am of the mind that Caleb should sit, but if Moore is lobbying, then Moore should be gone. Again, I am not buying that speculation.
It's Bears week and it may seem I am being a little salty on here, but this rivalry is real and I want to completely break the Bears.
As I have said before, much respect for the Bears, and their fans, but not on Bears week. No love lost. It's on and it's going to be ugly Sunday in Chicago. Bears fans may be leaving at halftime.
I am rooting for Caleb on every week other than Bears week. The Pack is going to bury him.
They are rallying in Chicago right now, and it's their Super Bowl on Sunday. Good luck with that.

Yeah, definitely have an open mind. But TBH, the first thing I thought when they promoted the passing coordinator was "but isn't the coordination in passing the problem?" But I'm happy Waldron is gone. Let's see what happens. The fact that some players (possibly Moore being one of them) wanting CW replaced is NOT a good sign. Not at all. That might scare me more than anything I have heard to date.

People, listen to the Shefter clip. HE NEVER SAYS PLAYERS ARE ADAVOCATING FOR REPLACING WILLIAMS. HE SIMPLY SAYS "I IMAGINE ITS ON A LIST OF THINGS THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT." The only reporter (if you can call Silvy that) who has talked about this is Silvy! Not one single beat reporter has come out and backed him up. Could it come out later? Maybe, but thats pretty big news and I can't imagine that Biggs for example can sit on that. There are no "reports," there is "a report."
Until I read otherwise, I'm calling MSU on Silvy. Bears fans make me crazy at time. Why do we believe everything we read? Why? Why?
edit: (sorry about the rant I have an issue with sloppy reporting) and all AdamS does is talk about how Williams looks on the sideline. Thats not reporting. He's literally making stuff up on a podcast where the main guest is Aaron "I've been immunized" Rodgers. Its all MSU. Yet, we swallow this repackaging as the literal truth. Please, we are smarter than this.
