Wait, Braggs thinks the Bears can get Harbaugh? Pipe dream. One, he is very happy with the Chargers. Two, one big reason he went there is Justin Herbert. Ever hear him talk about Herbert? It's not just coach talk. He feels he has his franchise QB for another 10 years at least.
Hard to believe that the team actually made a mid season move. Not necessarily the one I wanted (Flus, Waldron and Morgan), but it’s a start.
When the PR gets this bad, they do something. Other than that, hard to get them to do anything in mid season. Actually surprised they did it now anyway.
Well, now Flus's job is safe, The cause of everything just got fired.
If there truly are players who think Bagent gives them a greater chance to win games, I shudder at the future of this team. Seriously. I'm not going to argue with anyone about this. I simply can't believe that to be true, Silvey has to be MSU for clicks/views/listens.
edit: Seeing a lot of chatter that its not "veteran players" but one veteran player who got paid in the off season and apparently pays more attention to public perception that he admits. This I don't doubt.
If that is the case, we are truly screwed. For decades more. I know CW is missing guys he should not be. I also knew that the guys he was missing are not guys that are normally out of place. So I figured it had to be CW or Waldron. Well, Waldron is gone so now if it keeps going it's on CW. I'm not going to do a Poles here and see something and try to push it off as not important or blame it on something else.
I REALLY like CW. A lot. But if he is the problem, then he is the problem. We will soon see.
I didn't see this coming. I would have preferred for Flus to be fired., but who else would the interim head coach? It is a start though.
Flus ALSO needs to go. When it gets to the point that players are coming to you (and I'm sure if that's the case, it has been happening for a while) then that means you are not seeing what you should have been seeing. Or at least not reacting to it. The guy sucks. Plain and simple.

It sounds pretty weird when players are saying this is a "player run team" and they have these "players only" meetings to decide what to do. Players running the team now? Just what does that mean? I think while 'Flus was "looking inward" the monkeys got the keys to the zoo...
Whatever it is, it sounds like the wheels have totally come off the wagon for this team.
I was looking over Thomas Browns' experience and it is decent. He has a Super Bowl ring as the Assistant Head Coach for the Rams under Sean McVay. He's held a number of coaching positions from strength coordinator in the beginning of his career to TE coach, RB coach (his NFL position that he played), Passing Game Coordinator - and OC. He has interviewed for some head coaching jobs too.
I really like this guy as an interim OC. We can see if he can do anything with this cesspool mess and salvage Caleb Williams.
I'm done saying I like guys. I'll wait to see how he performs before saying I like him. I tend to want to like these guys and am not objective enough. Right now, all I know is that he has not called offensive pays before (I think that's true), and that he has a freaking mess on his hands that a seasoned OC might not be able to fix while working under Flus. And Poles may not have gotten rid of Flus because he plans on keeping him and wants to see if Brown can do well enough to blame Waldron for everything. I am kind of jaded at this point. I am strictly at the show me phase. Unfortunately, I am also getting there with CW. Until someone shows me something, I am not on board. Kind of a harsh position, but that's kind of where I'm at
