It is a reminder for the future if/when the Bears hire the next HC. A new HC not only needs to be a solid head coach, he also needs to be able to bring in the best 25 coaches for building a rock solid coaching staff. How respected and connected is the guy? Can he draw the best guys here? This hire is more than "just a guy" you're hiring. mpbears68 - one benefit of hiring a guy like Harbaugh is that he probably has the best network of talent to draw from... guys who would kill to be on his staff.
I know the Harbaugh train left the station already and isn't coming back. Can't change the past. I just hope there is some viable future guy. I know that may not be possible. Harbaugh-level guys don't come around but once in a blue moon.
One side-note. If Caleb busts (a real possibility if Eberflus breaks the new toy) then a new HC will want his own QB in 2025. At first I thought that was crazy, because Caleb is this generational talent. But he may not be that guy by the end of this season, depending upon how much permanent un-fixable damage is done to him before 'Flus is gone.

So much for continuity. Add Flustered to the list, this week, and nobody would notice any loss of continuity.
