Honestly I think it will be ugly. Not sure the interim OC can do much this late for the next game, but hey, it's possible. And at this point, I worry about every one of these last opponents ending CWs season. This is just a freaking waste of a season with these clowns

I worry it is far worse than just a season. I worry about the possibility that the Bears broke another promising quarterback too. The bad season is one thing I can stomach. But if Caleb is ruined that is a tragedy on a far higher level. Pisses me off.

Well, from that one video you posted in a different thread, the author believes CW is either not being coached or is being coached incorrectly. Obviously, I have no clue, but he seems to know what he is talking about and it didn't sound encouraging
I don't think there's a lot a new OC can do in a few days. But at the very least I expect better personnel usage and more appropriate playcalling. Yesterday I would have guaranteed a drubbing. Today, still a loss, but maybe not a complete beatdown. I think the players will be psyched and will make better effort for the new OC. I just don't have any confidence in the Flustered one to stop a marble with a snowplow. His game management remains - uhhh, I'll be nice here - questionable to horrible.

Yet another scary thought for me (Halloween IS over, right?) is that Poles ability to choose coaches is just not there. He is going to pick the next one, assuming Flus is gone. Not a really good degree of confidence there for me

I think we were all under the impression that Poles had help from above on his first hire. As in the McCaskey's Bad Ballkeeping Seal of Approval. Next time I think it will be Poles decision with Warren's backing. At least that's how I hope it works. Otherwise, it'll be another milquetoast hire and another 5 years of cellar dwelling.
Can we at least get out of the whine cellar and into a wine cellar?

I figure that at the very least Caleb has acquired some bad habits to un-learn in 2025. That could take some time to fix and CW is starting next season in a worse place than his rookie season. Stuff now has to be fixed before he can move onto his NFL development. That's the best of the situation outcomes if it is stuff that CAN be fixed. Worst case he has acquired damage that won't ever be fixed. I totally get it that some fans don't believe you can ruin a young/new QB. And I respect their opinion - but I don't agree with it.

We don't know who has been coaching him that stuff. I am going to ASSume that it was not being done at the OC level and therefore that person is still on staff coaching him and continuing to build bad habits
