This guy is really a bad OL. I get it, he's a backup. But his pass blocking grade for the season is 15.6 and he's had two games this year where he's graded out lower than 12. He had 41 snaps at LG last week when Jenkins went down with yet another injury. His pass blocking grade was 11.3 graded on a scale of 100.
He is listed on the depth chart as Shelton's backup but if Jenkins can't play on Sunday it looks like we'll get Kramer there again. Not good.

I posted in the shoutbox about Carm's calling out the Bears "not living in reality" with their overly-optimistic assessments of Velus, Nate, Flus, etc. Was on yesterday's CHGO and I suggest everyone watch it as it was a very good analysis of how things went off the rails starting this offseason.
Kramer is another (albeit minor) example of that same phenomenon. He was a 6th round pick you took a flyer on and he's what year 3 or 4 now? He's spent most of that time on the PS and I think he's been cut and re-signed at least once. Why is this guy still here?
He clearly can't play at an NFL level. You tried I get that but like most 6th rounders there wasn't anything there. Yet, they keep him around over-valuing what they can salvage out of this just like they hung on too long to Velus and Davis (and Flus).
The Bears organization top-to-bottom seems to have a disturbing tolerance for mediocrity. They hang on way too long.

Bingo! They get too comfortable and don't continue to strive for the best, despite what they say
