Except Cutler is what Cutler is. He will turn the ball over. Once or twice a game. Its like clockwork. He did it in Denver and he's continued it here. He is nothing more than an average NFL QB with a great arm. Now without Forte, more of the OFF load falls on him and he's being...well...Cutler. Looked to me last night like he as pressing to create, and when he does that he takes chances. With Gase last year, the outlet passes and the short open underneath options were always there. This year, Cutler can't connect with White, I don't know where the RB outlets are, and Miller hasn't been the safety value or the dynamic move TE he was supposed to be. The running game isn't working, he gets nailed on the second play of the game....and he goes all Cutler.
THIS IS NOT A DEFENSE OF CUTLER. I would have had a replacement drafted before this. Why? Because you know what Cutler is and you always try to improve any position on the field. Minus the OFF players Pace let go/traded in recent years to expect Cutler to 'get better' was a pipe-dream. Last year was a blip, this year so far he's back to being Cutler. He's not going to get better, he's not going to 'get it.' He's Cutler.
And the people thinking Hoyer is going to be better or looked better last night? Give me a break. Cutler makes those TD throws in the corner of the endzone every time. There is a reason why Hoyer is on his 4th team and Cutler still has a job.
Too bad none of the rookie QBs were worth moving up for huh?
Not defending cutler... But Massie's was a turnstyle. I don't think I saw him stop anybody, and he only slowed down his guy a couple times. Is JWebb still available?

^^^100% Shark. Jay still has a problem with getting rid of the ball in a timely fashion, but that's on the rare occasion where his drop doesn't also resemble running for his freakin life. Now he's out. Next victim please. Geeeeezussss.
This team has so many issues. Cutler is still the same old Cutler. The O-line is making him even worse. The defense is missing too many tackles. The play calling is pedestrian. It's just a mess and I've downgraded my projection of 8-8 to 5-11.
It sure would be sweet to win tonight. I hope the entire team - coaches and players - bring their "A" game tonight.
If they can't bring their A game tonight ... against a rookie starting his 1st road game - it being ur home opener - it being MNF ... then they all need a heart transplant . Bears should come out smokin tonight .
