you should have expected to be challenged and you have been.   

That's fair enough.  The grass sometimes seems greener on the other side of the fence.  I'm just not convinced Gase would do any better with this team than Fox.  Yes, he has 1 win this season.  He also inherited a team with more talent, IMHO.  I'm sure the Bears have made their share of mistakes between Pace and Fox so far.  I'm still not ready to toss in the towel on either of them.  Not yet anyway :-)

I think all we know for certain is that our offense and Cutler would be far better off if Gase was still here.  I don't know if it's pure ineptitude by Loggains or Fox is somehow putting in his two cents and stirring the drink wrong but it ain't working that's for sure.

I still believe Loggains got the job cause he was the next one to walk into Fox's office after Gase left. His interview was one question--Will you run a no-risk, high TOP, field position OFF? Yeah? You're hired

Chuck, this is Fox's 15th year as an NFL HC.   He's going on 62 years old.  This is the end of the line for him not the beginning. How much longer do you feel he should get?

Yep, which leads me to believe Fox leaned back into the offensive schemes more directly after Gase left and Loggains along with Cutler have tried to respond to what Fox has asked for but it requires a dominant OL like Dallas has and we don't have one.  Fox can be and often is his own worst enemy.

Several in the media have also pointed out that two years running we've had to blow up 40%-50% of the OL after camp ended and right before the season began.  A week before the season began.  That's a real issue as far as coordinating run blocking for zone scheme and so far it shows.

Well.....it was what you posted chuck.  You seemed to be emphasizing Fox here with Pace in parentheses as a secondary player in the game and I misunderstood you were referring to Gase as the HC and not Fox.  You're right and that's on me sorry.
