it will be a medicre season, but not without benefit. The biggest can't been seen, but experience and building Team chemistry is huge part of a rebuild. Getting rid of longtime members and leaders was needed to get a new Team and culture with guys leading the way that step up. That's something that takes its time. they are coming together and become one unit. That's something you can see on defense.

Yet on defense we're one of the worst teams in the NFL when it comes to pass rushing.
On Offense we still have this turnover machine known as Cutler playing for us.
In the end its a lost season if we go 7-9.
If you don't understand our history you're bound to repeat it. Let's not repeat another 10 years of mediocre seasons...

That's why you want to draft a Pass Rusher over a QB? Times have changed and all the good Teams have a good QB and a defense that works. Most of those Ds can't win on their own and they can Play as good as they Play because of their O keeping them off the field.
We all wanted a rebuild, now that we have one we have to understand it won't be pretty during those years.

Panthers ( 1-3 ) Packers ( 2-1 ) *I put them here because they barely beat the Jags. In fact there were many missed calls benefiting the Packers that game. Saints ( 1-3 ) Chargers ( 1-3 )
It's easy to forget about defenses in the NFL with so much focus on quarterbacks and offensive weapons. But through the first four weeks of the season, the teams with the truly great defenses have bulldozed their way through competition early.
While the Philadelphia Eagles had a bye in Week 4, the team is No. 1 in scoring defense after allowing just nine points per game in the first three weeks. Behind them are the Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, and Denver Broncos, respectively.
Can you tell me again how teams with great QBs win? Going by the first 4 games that isn't true.
Defense will always win in the end. History has shown defense wins championships. Broncos and Seahawks are great examples of that. Heck we have a great example of that in our history.
Vikings and Broncos QBs ain't consider elite yet they're undefeated? I wonder why? Oh that's because their defense...
While all the teams with a great QB ain't... Heck one that was 15-1 last year is now 1-3...
They probably think it's too early to have a bye and if they had a choice would rather have a bye later in the season.
Point taken, however, I expect jet lag to affect the Colts.. Not going to be an easy game for the Bears, but I think the Bears can win.
Yeah...believe it or not I don't think jet lag is all that big a deal. I know I'm in the minority on that, but there are ways to minimize any of it's effects.
