If they have 4 in the top 41 they could use that to move up and draft a rookie they like. It doesn't sound like the top qb's in this draft are looked quite as upon as in the past few years. Seems some could be had for a small move up outside the top 10.
Or they can look for a less expensive trade for a guy like Baker or Jimmy G; and then wait for a better draft class.
Seahawks have a terrible team now that Russ is gone... Wouldn't shock me if they start trading veterans to tank for next years draft...
They already did that with Bobby Wagner. There is actually a QB named Willis that I would not be surprised if they draft. Seahawks have #9 pick in the first round. If they draft this kid, I can see him even beating out Lock for the job in training camp. Lock is bad. No way in hell Pete Carroll will ever “tank” a game.

Yeah agreed and I don't think Carroll has the job stability at this point to tank... The tanking would come from the GM

The GM can order the coach to tank game #17, but the coach can have enough integrity to refuse the order. I watch nearly every Seahawks game, and I will say Pete was busting his ass as hard to win #17 as he was to win #1. I am sure he will do the same this year. However, the fate of the team for the 2022 season is going to depend a lot on what, if anything, the GM does to give Lock some serious competition at QB.

I doubt John Schneider would ever ask a coach to tank... I too am interested to see if Schneider can build a SB winner a second time...
