I don’t worry about Smith getting slaughtered this year. The offensive line is much improved by the addition of Lucas and Cross at the tackle position. And, as we know, the Seahawks will be a run-oriented offense. Plus, they have excellent WRs in Lockett and Metcalf. It is shaping up as a pretty good destination for a QB, and will be better next year with a pretty high draft pick and a ton of cap space. Ergo, I think both my teams (Bears and Seahawks) are on an upward trajectory, but you’d never guess it from all these so-called “power rankings” that rate both teams near the bottom of the NFL.

I just wanted you to see this film study of Lucas against the Bears. Leatherwood should study this to see how a right tackle is supposed to play. As i said, the Seahawks are rock solid at the tackle position. The other rookie tackle is Cross (#67) and he was the Seahawks high first-round draft pick this year.
