Have to say....I'm not a big fan of this one in regards to the players they picked for the Bears. I do like the future first they picked up in a trade.
1. Atlanta Falcons (from CHI via CAR): Caleb Williams, QB, USC
Proposed trade: Atlanta receives No. 1; Chicago receives Nos. 8 and 43 plus a future first-round pick and a future second-round pick
2. Washington Commanders: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina 3. New England Patriots: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State *This is where I personally feel the draft gets out of the Bears' control. 4. Arizona Cardinals: Olu Fashanu, OT, Penn State 5. Los Angeles Chargers: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU 6. New York Giants: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame 7. Tennessee Titans: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia 8. Chicago Bears (from ATL): Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
9. Chicago Bears: Dallas Turner, edge, Alabama
Don't like either of those two picks at that point. Other picks of interest:
11. Minnesota Vikings: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU 14. New Orleans Saints: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington 16. Seattle Seahawks: Jer’Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois 27. Denver Broncos (from HOU via CLE): Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington
I think (and my opinion stinks) is Chargers go DL (they're up against the cap and will lose/shed vets and their defense sucks) and Giants go QB (drafting is the only way they can afford a viable fall-back).
