That's Jay Cutler.
My point wasn't that Cutler is some great ball protector. Everyone knows he turns it over at almost 2 per game. He's done it since he entered the league. nothing new. But over his career, Hoyer isn't Aaron Rogers. Hoyer averages about 1.5 turnovers a game. So who do you want QBing? The 10 year vet who can make every throw but will give you two turnovers a game, or the 8 year vet who couldn't hold on to a job in CLEVELAND (ponder that one for awhile) or Houston (where he lost the job to Ryan Mallett of all people) and who doesn't have the skill set of the first QB and can't make all the throws AND will still turn the ball over.
If the answer is still Hoyer than go into it eyes wide open, knowing the turnovers are coming when opposing DEF improve.

I get your point. I guess in all honesty it's like asking if you want a red-hot steel rod jammed into your eye, or have your feet cut off with a chain saw. Neither option is something Bears fans look forward to. Some day I hope we have a less painful option than Hoyer or Cutler. As fans we've had the hot-poker & chain saw thing too many times over the past 50 years :-)

I think we should start Jay Grosston. Great arm, whatever Grossman bring to the table, and Orton's non-flustered personality.
