New head coach for 2025 - who should they hire?

I was thinking more in terms of him just getting an HC job anywhere and not necessarily here.  But I admit I did think about that possibility.  He won't be the sexy pick here because the team will most likely lose a lot of these remaining games (maybe all of them).  And he's not a big name guy, and there will be popular big name guys available to hire, guys like Gruden, Belichick, Ben Johnson, Daboll, McCarthy, Vrabel, Kingsbury, Slowick etc.   I had never even heard of Thomas Brown.  The weird thing is, if he were to do some miraculous thing and the team wins 4 or 5 of these tough games against some of the NFL's best teams, will that save Eberflus and the Bears keep 'Flus while Thomas Brown is with another team as HC?

I wouldn't mind having Brown as the HC. I don't think the Bears will win the remiaing games (well except against the Giants).

I don't want to see the Bears hire Daboll, or McCarthy. I would be ok with Gruden, Belichick, or Johnson. Maybe Vrabel. Meh on Kingsbury. 

But I don't get to make the decsision.

He was an NFL QB that was decent but no earth shaker. Of course he was a QB here (2011-2013) since he met those stringent qualifications. But he actually wasn't too bad. We have had worse. And now I'm getting on shaky ground. I believe he used to also be a coach for a high school team? Anyway, he coached somewhere and I think it was QBs he coached. Every article I had read about him really praised him as a super sharp coach. 

I actually wondered how he would be as a QB trainer/coach/coordinator. He had garnered some interest a few years back because of the buzz. Can't remember if he actually got any HC interviews or not. He may actually end up being a good HC, but too little experience IMO to give that position at this point. Would be another experiment.  I think OC might also be too much for him. He would be a guy to take a flyer on and while he may be the next best thing to sliced bread, too much risk. We need a more proven commodity. You know.... like Waldron, LOL. But all for him coming in to help develop CW.
