Pat Mcafee was saying that the Refs might have blown that call. The Bears got a call reversed due to "Leverage" this season. But its all in the past so whatevs.
It was a good game either way.
If you watch it, it's not a penalty. Only way is penalty if the center is hit that could cause injury. You can touch him cuz he is still a blocker. No one is claiming Brooks had leverage. It's about the Bears center. That wasn't wrong either. McAfee trying to stir up drama trying to get attention.
Several bad calls against the Packers all game. You see Lafleur pissed all game? He normally not that fired up. Packers 7 penalties. Bears 3

bass ackwards. Bears were called 7 times, peckers only 3.
We got called for leverage earlier this season, nothing to do with hitting the center. It's using hands on another person to elevate. Peckers did it and it wasn't called.
Lafleur pissed off all game over 3 penalties because as usual the refs aren't allowed to throw flags at the peckers except maybe on meaningless plays.

You may be right on the penalty numbers. My mistake if so.
But you 100% have no clue on the block. NO ONE is disputing that there should have been a leverage call. Again, the Bears nor anyone else is questioning anything about leverage. If the Bears were called for that earlier this season that has ZERO to do with yesterday.
The question was whether the Bears center was hit illegally. And he wasn't. Eberflus sent the play to the league to see what they say. But he sent it because he feels the center may have been hit illegally, NOTHING else. Before the center snaps the ball and has his head down, he can't be drilled. He was not hit until after the ball was snapped.

You're clueless, I'm not talking about the block. I saw the leverage. Me. I'm questioning why the leverage wasn't called. I used our previous BS leverage penalty as an example.
At this point. Poles needs to be fired for keeping Flus. He has set this franchise back and might of destroyed our young rookie QB.
He isn't going to fire him during season. Who would be the interim head coach? K then. Caleb will be fine now with Waldron gone. Let Brown handle Caleb. Eberflus is better with the D than Bears fans give him credit for. That is a good D. And don't tell me Washington runs the D. Eberflus makes that D good.
You sure as hell don't fire Eberflus right now. The Bears just played their best game of the season. Granted, the Packers played their worst game of the season and still won. The Packers-Bears rivalry is always going to be a war. Stay tuned for January. Date and time TBD.
Let the season play out, then you re-evalute the situation, & at that point you may decide to fire Eberflus. When things go wrong, a lot of fans resolution is always: "Fire everyone!" Take a deep breath. You are good, panicking and firing everyone is not a rational move right now. A big problem is gone in Waldron. Get to the end of the season, and go from there.
Matt Eberflus with a record of 14-30 joins elite company of Hue Jackson 3-36-1 and Matt Patricia 13-29-1. This would make Flus the 3rd worst coach with of the 21st century.
Hue Jackson: .087
Matt Patricia: .314
Matt Eberflus: .318
Matt Eberflus total record if the bears finish the season with a record of 4-13: .275
Anyone would be better than him at this point. The guy can't coach to save his job. His defense is overrated.
Jordan Love has PFF passing grade of 53.5 against the blitz this season which ranks 34th among 40 QBs. The #Bears blitzed him 3 times
