You aren't and I don't why either would even be an issue.  We posted pics at DBS all the time and in many cases the pics are worth a thousand words.  It's just one more form of communication between all of us.  There is also no such thing as posting too much.  No one is subject to a max limit or a minimum quota.

And......Houston and I brought our perv old man act over with us from DBS so it's not as if IT wasn't happening there too.  It can't be all serious all of the time can it?

We may not be all things to all people and quite frankly we don't want to be.  Our intent here was never to be snobbish but it was to be selective and to have a very specific type of site and forum.  What we have now pretty well fits that vision as do the members we'd hoped would join us.

Sorry moth, I was just joking about that Part I, Part II, Part III deal I did earlier this week.  Guess with how sad ass bad the team is I'm trying to get in a joking mood before tomorrow.

We're just six weeks into this but we've had over 300 new threads and 6000 posts which is a pretty amazing amount of traffic for a new site.  And maybe just as importantly in contrast to what many came from not a single moderation issue has come up.  That was another important goal we'd hoped to meet and so far we are quite nicely in fact.

Being able to use both sites may be an advantage for some and not so much for others.  That's the great thing about freedom of choice.  But we're glad you've chosen to join us and contribute here as well. 

And it's a good thing no moderation issues have come up ... cuz you know what happens -  we would have to watch Soul go all Andre again :

LOL  I actually think Alex, Ric and I are all quite happy that we have not had even one nor does it even look like we'll have any that even approach the shit that was happening over at DBS.

This is more like Mayberry compared to NYC and we're Andy, Barney, and Floyd the barber.  LOL

I think it's awesome that you post a ton of articles. I think you and soul have been key in growing this board so far.


As far the the old man perv stuff, as I said it's meh - not a fan of it but given football has a mostly macho audience it makes sense. I don't mind it for the off topic nature, I just don't like the overt obj. of women. 

I like this forum and its focus better than what dbs has become over the past 10 months, but when comparing the two there are certain str. and weaknesses. I know it will continue to evolve - I hope it does. I'm glad you'll made it happen.

I'm glad you all took it upon yourselves to get this up and running. It's not an easy thing to run. Most posters don't always realize how much work it takes to keep it all going. So thanks for stepping up.

It's unfortunate about the DB board, as I joined it when CCS went south (which I joined when the CBMB went south), even though I had been reading stuff on there pretty regularly. When HHM showed up I messaged the mods to let them know what the guy was like and they needed to watch out for him and others like him. I thought they were pretty good about it for awhile and then they just seemed to not care anymore.
